Hello, I’m Rocío – a passionate travel guide and lover of cultural exchange and authentic travel experiences.
After several years living and working in Germany, I settled in Bilbao, a city I have proudly called home for almost two decades.
Over the years, I have explored countries such as Switzerland, the United States, Iran, Indonesia, Mexico, Egypt, Turkey, and Cuba. These experiences have shown me the value of connecting with local people and discovering the authentic spirit of each destination.
Combined with my background in tourism and customer service, these journeys inspired me to create RL The Local Planner, a project through which I share my passion for travel, culture, and meaningful experiences.
As a local guide, I enjoy helping visitors discover Bilbao and its surroundings in a personal and authentic way. Beyond the must-see attractions, I love sharing the hidden corners, stories, and details that make each place unique. My goal is to create memorable experiences that combine discovery, connection, and a thoughtful way of traveling.
